Scenes from the soap pot

When I am making soap I am in my happy place. I play great music, clear my head and totally immerse myself in the moment. I love the process and how creating new soaps makes me feel. It always amazes me how this process all comes together and gives me soap!

This process has also taught me many things. Patience: You can not rush the process. To rush the process can be very dangerous and costly. Beauty: it's in the simplest things, like the way the soap swirls together in the pot, how colors go together and how it feels when it first comes out of the mold. Creativity: I am astounded that I can create my own scents and products.

And mostly, that I do this for myself, that I can take my time, that I can be me and that my products reflect who I am.
